Before the idea of equal pay, gender equality and safer workplace start to emerge, an important aspect to given its due recognition is the sheer amount of ceaseless and exemplary hard work done by the women. It is because of that unshattered resolve that not only the movement for women's rights but humanity itself has managed to achieve the stature it has today. let us together recall and honor the hard work and effort put in by such women, which is a story for not one but to a great extent of every mother in her own specific means and I am certain that you all would be able to relate to that in your own unique way. Here is the story of women, living in a village and raising her family alone, proving her arms and commitment much more concrete than stereotypically assumed of women.
Every morning, she would be found walking on the village footpath with two large water bowls over her head, treading towards her house. During the day, she is found attending to the livestock, through which she earns the bread for her home. While in the afternoon, cooking the meal for her children, who is expected to be returning from school. She cleans the sweat from her children’s forehead with her veil as he reaches home and serves him with the meal before he even asks. And for her sweat, the sun dries them up, but she doesn’t weep or express the signs of suffering or hopes for a better tomorrow, as she sees her today as the best she could have asked.
